She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Willam Blankenship, Jr. and Mary Edna Gray Blankenship; and her sister Linda Edington. She is survived by: her children, Michael Steven Long (Jennifer) and Mary Ann Shreve (Corey); her siblings, Thomas William Blankenship (Pam) and Sandra Roszman (Doug); her brother-in-law Mark Edington; her grandchildren, Samantha Inskeep (Seth), Ashely McMaken (Jon), Austin Long (Samantha), Christopher Long, Zayne Shreve (Sarah) and Makayla Shreve (Grant Dailey); and her great grandchildren, Mandi, Steven, Teddy, Grayson, Andre, Conen and Mason.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Rita's honor.
