He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howser and Muriel Howser; his wife Mary Jane Howser; and his children, Matthew Howser and Stephanie Howser.

He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Lawrence; his son Andrew Howser; and his grandson Eric McIntyre. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many cherished close friends.
