He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simpkins and Jeanie Simpkins (Houchins); and his brother Ronald Simpkins. He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Simpkins, Danyele Simpkins, Kelly Martin, Kyle Simpkins (Gabby McGinnis), Nick Simpkins and Tessa Simpkins; his siblings, Dale Simpkins (Linda), Rocky Simpkins (Paula), Gary Simpkins and Annette Hurst; and his grandchildren, Kaleb, Haiden, Payton, Orion, Emmett, Ryder, Amelia and Teagan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
