She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Cope and Wanda L. Cope (Gibson); her daughters, Maria and Julianna Lavender; and her siblings, Kay Abrahamsen and Nerol Cope.

She is survived by: her husband Terry M. Lavender; and her sister Karen Jackson.
