With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley K. Johnson of Marion, Ohio, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Shirley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Shirley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sue McCallum (Gregerson) and Gerry McCallum. She is survived by: her husband Walter E. Johnson (Gene); her daughters, Rebecca Johnson (Bill Destler) and Anne Johnson (Dick Gregg); her grandchildren, Walter Destler, Nathan Destler (Marija Pushko), Helen Gregg (Ryan Huffman) and Katie Gregg; and her pet Charlie.
