He is survived by: his wife Janet Broughton; his son Dwyane Broughton; his siblings, Everett Broughton (Shy) and Diane Meade (Sam); and his grandchildren, Gaige Broughton and Cassie Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the family in their time of need.
