He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Gillispie and Mildred Gillispie; and his brother Steven Gillispie. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Callahan (Pat), Diana Howard, Cindy Wilson (Jess), Barbara Murrel and Joyce Davis.
In lieu of flowers, they kindly ask for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, hoping to support a cause that was dear to his heart.
