She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Conrad and Geneva A. Stierhoff (Huston); her husbands, Homer Scott, Jack Griffith and James Ward; and her brothers, Ted and Dan Stierhoff.
She is survived by: her children, David Scott (Cynthia) and LaVonne Flach (Thomas); and her sisters, Retta Retterer and Barbara Hervey. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, Violet has asked that donations be made to the Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelter or Capital City Hospice of Columbus, OH.
