He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Short and Vesta Short (Hall); and his brothers, Nolan and Dale Short. He is survived by : his wife Jeanine Short; his sons, Rodney Short of California and Randy Short of Florida; his stepchildren, Mike Brown of Wadsworth and Chrissy Brown of Orrville; his grandchildren, Austin Brown of Cleveland, McKaylee Mowrer of Orrville and Misty Short of Florida; and his great grandchild Bentley VanSickle of Orrville.
