He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Woods and Zella Woods; his wife Janice; his former life partner Peggy; and his son Michael.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lanae Catteau and Cindy Wertz (David); his granddaughters, Abigail Midcap (Jeff) and Kaylin Rose (Terry); his great grandchildren, Dayanaira, Brennen, Riverlyn, Emerick and Leeland; his daughter-in-law Patricia; and his brothers, Dana, Demil and Dencil. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
