He is survived by: his mother Janelle Ries (Stiles) of Rittman; his wife Michelle Dawn Carpenter; his daughters, Abby Ries of Marshallville and Maddie Ries of Marshallville; his brother Kevin Ries (Meleah) of Rittman; and his nieces and nephews, Shelby of Rittman and Trace Ries of Rittman.
