It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William J Butzer Sr. of Marshallville, Ohio, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Butzer and Hazel Butzer (Walsh); his wife Barbara; his sisters, Donna Busson (Bob) and Shirley Williams; and his brother-in-law Larry Brillhart.

He is survived by : his children, William Butzer Jr. (Cathy) of Marshallville, Jeff Butzer of Doylestown, Beth Milford (Al Clark) of North Carolina and Jacque Largent (Ted) of Wadsworth; his sister Mary Butzer-Brillhart of Marshallville; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Williams of Marshallville and Elaine Fetter of Orrville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
