David Simpson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Simpson of Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Simpson and Evelyn Simpson (Adams); his wife Cynthia; his siblings, Karen Howell and Kenneth "Bob" Simpson; and his brother-in-law Lowell Hostetler.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery (Michelle), Bradley (Kerri) and Derek Simpson (Amanda); his grandchildren, Lillian, Adeline, Myles, Kendyl, Keegan and Kyler; his sister Sandra Hostetler; his mother-in-law Jenny Hritz (Josefczyk); and his sister-in-law Jeanne Simpson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary Church (20 N 4th St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935).
