He was predeceased by: his father James Kovalcik; his brother Kenneth Kovalcik; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Regina Lavy. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Kovalcik (Lavy); his children, J. Ben Kovalcik (Jeff Borchers), Carrie Ramsay (Mark) and Jamie Cash (Jason); his siblings, Mark Kovalcik (Lisa) and Suelyn (Les); his grandchildren, Bryce, Bradie Ann Ramsay, Jadyn and Josie Cash; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Fregiato (Frank), Jeannine Repka (Rod), Roberta Hyde (Milo), Denise Withers (Dick) and Robert Lavy (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim's family requests that donations be sent to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, OH or Capital City Hospice in Columbus, OH.
