He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith (Nieman); his children, Rhonda Temeles (Randy) of Wheeling and Ronald Smith, Jr. (Alexis) of Martins Ferry; his grandchildren, Philip Trouten (Stefanie), Jenna Trouten, Natalie Temeles, Justin Smith (Amanda) and Dustin Smith (Natasha); his great grandchild Claire Trouten; his brother Harry Smith; and his friend Bob Morris, Sr..
