The memory of Rose Marie Pugh of Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bender and Eleanor Bender (Varner); and her siblings, Bill, Shirley and Carol Bender.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Pugh; her daughters, Tonya Knox, Sherry Grimes (Scott) and Kari Pugh; her grandchildren, Briona, Braelyn Knox, Logan Pugh and Jace McWhoter; her pets, Chubby and Eva; her siblings, Stanley Bender (Missy), Bob Bender (Tricia), Barb Heath, Helen Conaway and Penny Finsley; and her sister-in-law Gail Bender (Gene Hopkins). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heslop Chapel (415 Walnut St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
