It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanita Thompson of Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurthur Imer and Helen Imer (Sicoski); her husband Jess Thompson; and her daughter Penny Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Michael Imer, Kimberly Billingsley (Russell), Shawna Thompson, Carrie Thompson and Michelle Thompson; and her siblings, Kenny Imer, Debbie Darrah, Wilma Ruckman and Evelyn Varner. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Borkoski Funeral Homes (337 Jefferson St, Tiltonsville, OH 43963). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
