He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Frey and Georgia Frey (Asher); his wife Evelyn G. Held; his children, John M. Frey and Brenda A. Frey; and his siblings, Mary Jane Patten (Chester), Caroline Braun (Chris) and John E. Frey.
He is survived by: his brother Andy; his family, Andy and Evelyn; his children, Charlie T. Frey (Susan) of Marysville and Susan F. Rigano (Jim) of Springboro; his daughter-in-law Joyce A. Frey of Marysville; his grandchildren, Janice Alston (Steve), Jennifer Frey, Justin Frey (Chelsea Ricker), Timothy Frey (Ali), Caleb Frey (Laura), Hannah Frey (Rodrigo Garibay), Micah Frey, Chris Rigano (Anna) and Kevin Rigano (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Dylan, Evelyn, Mariel, Naomi, Jehu, Andrew, Samantha, Lance, Jonah and Brynn; and his sister-in-law Barbara Yarnell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (975 N Maple St, Marysville, OH 43040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
