He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Bauer (Pawlak) and Alvin Bauer; and his siblings, Louie Bauer (JoAnn), Chuck Bauer (Carolyn), Paul Bauer (Bunny), Jimmy Bauer, Joe Bauer (Evarae) and Theresa Looney.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bauer (Sloan); his children, Christina Kesterson (Chad) of Marysville and John Bauer (Shayne) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Micayla Deardoff (Christian) of Columbus, Tyler, Julia and Jacob Dickman (Danielle) of Cincinnati; his great grandchild Wesley Dickman of Cincinnati; his sister Veronica; and his brothers-in-law, Bernie Looney of Reynoldsburg and William Sloan (Susan) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
