He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin P. Carl and Martha J. Carl (Torbert); and his son Zebadiah A. J. Carl. He is survived by: his wife Sue Johnson Carl; his children, Johnchristian T. Carl (Stacy), Ezekial C. Carl (Emma), Jarisah A. Carl (Cody) and Karisah E. Patrick (Sean); and his grandchildren, Anna, Callan, Austin, Jack, Avett (family: Jim, Carol Ogden), Jim Lawrenz, Jenny Brill, Rocky and Marianne Jacques.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Union County Foundation for a scholarship fund that will help send FFA students to the Washington Leadership Conference, something very dear to John's heart.
