He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carroll and Eleanor Potts (Dunaway); and his brother David Potts. He is survived by: his children, Kyle Potts (Heather) of Dallas, TX and Christina Turner (Josh) of Glasgow, KY; his grandchildren, Lauren, Gavin, Gabriel Potts, Sarah and Leah Turner; his sister Janie Mohler of Newark; his niece Tricia McPherson of Newark; and his nephew Opey Potts (Angie) of Belle Center.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (311 E 6th St, Marysville, OH 43040). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the York Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to ViaQuest Hospice or Memorial Mobile Meals, envelopes will be available at the church.
