He is survived by: his brother Ron; his wife Nancy M. Shortridge; his daughters, Karen Shortridge of Lima, Tracey Kessler (Brian) of Cincinnati and Jenny Austin of Marysville; his grandchildren, Samantha Kessler, Alex Kessler, Avery Issler (AJ) and Val Austin Jr.; his brother Ray Shortridge (Patsy) of Virginia; his niece Brenda Davis; and his nephews, David Justice and Ron. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
