He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Topel and Josephine Topel; his wife Helen Topel; and his brother James Topel. He is survived by: his sons, William Topel (Lisa) and David Topel (Donna); his grandchildren, Caroline Wik (Adam), Audrey Topel and Zachary Topel; his stepgrandchildren, Peter Lacomb, Amanda McGinnis, Matthew Slade and Brianna Topel; and his great grandchildren, Katie and Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brater Winter Funeral Home - Harrison (201 S Vine St, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery's. Wasington (708 S Washington St, Tiffin, OH 44883).
