He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse T. Sheets and Naomi G. Freeman Sheets Sr.; and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Warren Sheets; his children, Betsy Lynn Noe and Jesse T. Sheets III; his grandchildren, Jesse T. Sheets IV, Jarrett Sheets, Ashton Pugh and Samantha Pugh; his stepsons, Jerry, Rick and Chad; and his siblings, Richard Sheets, Steve Sheets and Vickie Fleenor. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doan and Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elkhorn Cemetery (5362 Esteb Rd, Richmond, IN 47374).
