He is survived by: his wife Michele Shurin (April); his children, Joseph Shurin III (Laurie) and Brianna Bradford (David); his grandchildren, Brent Kight, Wade Kight, Emory Bradford, Lincoln Bradford and Sloane Bradford; his great grandchildren, Avery Kight and Colter Kight; his sister Dorothy "Cookie" Rodriguez; and his aunt Dodie Price.
