Mary Ann Cowan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2025, at the age of 92, Mary Ann Cowan of Mason, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Stuart Cowan; and her siblings, John Schroth, Betty Levendusky, Julie Carter and Margaret Walker.
She is survived by: her children, John Stuart Cowan II, Barbara Ann Davis (Richard), Mary Rebecca Kirby, Stephen Lawrence Cowan (Phyllis), Joseph Albert Cowan and Gretchen Marie Pennington (Leroy); and her niece Cindy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Susanna Catholic Church (616 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236).
In Lieu of flowers the family is asking a donation be made in Mary Ann's name to one of the following charities of your choosing Alzheimer's or American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
