She was predeceased by : her parents, William Rouhier and Helen Rouhier. She is survived by : her husband Robert Melzer; her children, Kerry Stafford (Mark), Shannon Melzer, Devin Melzer (Kim) and Ryan Melzer (Molly Williamson); and her siblings, Daniel Rouhier and Jeanmarie Rouhier-Willoughby. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A prayer was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

The family asks for donations towards Chelle's funeral expenses as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
