She is survived by: her husband John T. Carey; her sons, Tom Hicks (Joyce) and Timothy Hicks; her grandchildren, Scott Hicks (Leslie) and Allison Brown (Jack); her great grandchildren, Anna, Ainsley, Scotty, Penelope, Julian and Crew; and her nephew Michael Carey.
