It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Phillip Allen (Mason, Ohio), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, James W. Allen and Mary Jane Allen (Ball); his children, Sydney, Savannah, Casey and Sophia; his grandchildren, AruLea, Jaiden, Skylar and August; his siblings, Lisa (Rob) and Jim (Anita); and his pets, Thor and Loki. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (171 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040).
