Walter L. Starkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 94, Walter L. Starkey (Mason, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter L. Starkey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Lee Starkey; and his stepchildren, Dean Smith, Benny Smith, Buck Smith, Terry Smith and Angela Hagenschneider.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Starkey, Carol Hakola (Russ) and Marsha Gordon; and his grandchildren, Timothy Hakola (Karmen), Scott Hakola (Kristy), Christopher Hakola (Colleen), Matthew Hakola (Lisa), Heather, Derek Hakola, Josh Smith (Ashley), Gabriel Gordon, Benjamin Smith (Sarah) and Kyle Smith (Katie). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
