He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Hmiel and Dorothy Hmiel. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Jason Hmiel (Kristian), Ashley Sanders (Clayton), Lauren Hmiel and Kelly Hmiel; and his grandchildren, Jase, Jonah and Cal.
