She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Shutts and Alma Link Shutts; her husband Glenn Edwin Hawkins; her sister Judy Shutts Hughes; her nephew Daniel Bell; and her brothers-in-law, Glenn Bell and Gary Farris.

She is survived by: her son Kenny; her daughter-in-law Susan; her granddaughter Addison of Canton, GA; her son Adam of Massillon; her sister Melva Farris of Parkersburg; her siblings-in-law, Janice Bell of White Lake, MI and Ronnie Hughes of Waverly, TN; and her nieces and nephews, Mark Bell, Ronald Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Lewis Link, Alma Barnes and Melinda Rader.
