With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Hassan Hamit (Massillon, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Luan Hamit; and his grandson Jesse Sinay. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his sister Betty Wingerter; his children, Rick Hamit (Brenda), Michelle Sinay (Nick) and Renee DeLong-Parr (Brian); his grandchildren, Trisha Sinay, Bruce Hamit (Meredith), Todd Hamit, Joey Sinay, Jennifer Whisman (Austin) and Dillon DeLong (Taylor Pipero); his stepgrandchildren, Lauren (Sam), Winkler, Brett Parr (McLean) and Paige Parr; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Camden Hamit, Sophia Whisman, Will and Sullivan Winkler.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Auto Mechanics class at Washington High School with checks made out to Massillon Board of Education and sent to Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes or Rick Hamit.
