Laase and Clyo Roach; his son Kipp Laase; his granddaughter Amanda Wingerter; his siblings, Kirk Laase, Ronald Laase, Jeanine Biebelhausen (Thomas) and Susan Tennent (William); and his half-sister Linda Gibbard (Artie).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Laase; his children, Richard Laase (Ann), Randall Laase (Patricia), Sandra Harper (Rick) and Christine Porter (David); his sisters, Cindi Gunning (James) and Judi Steffes (Dick); his half-sister Barb Smith; and his grandchildren, Clint McIntyre, Jennifer Henthorn, Elise Buchholz, Jackie Stroud, Ben Porter, Jonathan Laase, Eric Laase, Jesse Laase, Trevor Laase, Breanne Walter and Matthew Harper. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canton Baptist Temple (515 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens (3655 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646).
