She was predeceased by: her father Homer Turner; her husband Gary L. Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Melissa and Matthew Wheeler. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Mattox (Tom), Karen Meade, Gary W. Wheeler (Mary L.), Bruce Wheeler (Tonya) and David Wheeler (Kathy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
