She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Cowan and Pauline Cowan (Zimmerman). She is survived by: her husband Jerry L. Ryan; her sons, Dr. Michael P. Ryan (Jeanene), Timothy L. Ryan (Kimberly) and Patrick O Ryan (Patricia); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Ponder, Johnathan Ryan, Rachelle Ryan, Meg L. Ryan, Frederick L. Ryan and Francesca L. Ryan; her great grandchildren, Rylee Ponder and Eryn Ponder; and her brothers, Curtis Cowan (Judith) and Craig Cowan (Jean).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Massillon.
