The memory of David L. Poindexter of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Poindexter (Cecil) and Jim; and his granddaughter Alexis Poindexter. He is survived by: his wife Marian; his son Alex (Kelli); his grandsons, Spencer and Elijah Poindexter; and his sister Lola (Bob Crawford).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aulman Hospice or RiverTree Christian Church.
