She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scarbrough and Virginia Scarbrough (Phillips); her husband Gerald Farkas; and her brother Bob Scarbrough. She is survived by: her son Matt Farkas (Kristin); and her brother Ronald Scarbrough. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
