With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Duane Harwig Sr. of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Candice Marie Kornowski; his parents, Bernard "Barney" William Harwig and Doris "Aleen" Hodge (Cummins); and his siblings, William "Bill" Harwig, Beverly J. Russman, Donald Harwig, Kay J. Smith, Robert "Bob" Harwig and Cary Paul Harwig.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Harwig (Jordan); his children, Dennis Harwig, Jr. (Jennifer), John Harwig (Monica), Julie Harwig Smith (Scott) and David Harwig (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kenneth Kornowski (Kara), Kurt Kornowski, Madeleine Ware (Jestin), Mitch Harwig, Michael Harwig (Toni), Anne McGinley (Colby), Lance Smith (Autumn Maki), Logan Smith (Heather) and Ayla Porter; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Felicity, Kendrick, Sadie, Hudson, June, Rebecca and Josie.
