We announce the death of Duane Floyd Stutz of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 75. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd M. Stutz and Esther M. Stutz (Barnett); his siblings, Raymond Stutz and Vivian Heisserer; his parents-in-law, Ken and Mary Harlan; and his sister-in-law Dianne McElhaney.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Stutz; his children, Jason Stutz (Stacy) and Jennifer Comparda (Robert); his grandchildren, Jordan Anderson (Chris), Brooke Stutz, Joseph Comparda (Megan), Matthew Comparda (Shelbi), David Comparda, Samuel Comparda and Katelynne Comparda; his great grandchildren, Malia Comparda and Ariel Anderson; his sister Norma Schmidt (Tim); and his sister-in-law Inge Stutz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
