He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Kerchner and Anna Marie Kerchner (Heffner). He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his children, Jeff Kerchner, Deena Warehime (Jerry) and Karen Schulze (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Kerns (Cory), Jennifer Koenig (Tim), Allyssa Kerchner, Angela Kerchner, Olivia Valentine (Joey), BJ "Jerry" Warehime (Matison), Bailey Schulze, Sam Schulze (Amanda) and Grace Schulze; his brothers, Harvey Kerchner (Ursel), Dennis Kerchner (Joyce), Raymond Kerchner (Dorene) and Howard Kerchner (Kathy); and his brother-in-law Milton Smith (Jackie). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
