He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Grier and Wilma Grier-Chandler (Robinson); and his siblings, Raymond Grier and Loretta Grier-Russell. He is survived by: his wife Judith Grier (Nightingale); and his children, Karen Grier, Kathryn Howard (Grier), Andrew Grier, Michele O'Connor and Mary Quinlan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
