He was predeceased by: his father Henry E. Knotts; and his nephew Brian. He is survived by: his wife Alice Knotts (Ledger); his mother Edna Knotts Groff; his brothers, Harry Knotts (Stefanie) and Mack Knotts (Betty); his sisters-in-law, Linda Grimm, Janie McGinnis and Becky McNamara; his goddaughter Bethann Simons (Charlie); his nieces and nephews, Chris Knotts (Missy), Mark, Mike, Damian, Eric, Robayn, Haley and Lori; and his close friend Tom Ferguson.
