It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Ellen Shallenberger of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Link, and Elizabeth Link, Sr. (Schweikert); her husband Walter R. "Wally" Shallenberger; her daughter Bethany Shallenberger Turowski; and her siblings, Karl Link, Jr., Robert Link, Ruth Schlegel (Floyd) and Alice Creter (Ralph).

She is survived by: her children, Kim Shallenberger of Canton, Lynette Shallenberger Micks (Michael) of Massillon and Jodi Heck (Ron) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; her grandchildren, Michael Chipples, Jason Shallenberger, Stephanie Cordia (Johnny), Brian James Montgomery and Angela Lyn Montgomery; and her great grandchildren, Christina Marie, Mykaela Paige, Sean Patric, Emily Sue, Angel and Jazmynn.
