We are sad to announce that, on August 21, 2022, at the age of 93, Fred Richter of Massillon, Ohio, born in New Philadelphia, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Richter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl M. Richter and Meta Richter (Schrader); his siblings, Gus Richter, Carl "Butch" Richter and Marian Doidge; and his great grandchild Angelina Hope Volpe.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Richter (Hess); his children, Vicki Seifert (Martin) of North Canton and Carl Richter (Gale) of Urbana, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Matthew Richter (Suzanne), Michelle Volpe (Dennis), Megan MacCauley (Kevin), Martin Seifert (Nicole) and Melissa Mistretta (Keith). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
