Gail A. Woods Obituary
The memory of Gail A. Woods of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Gail departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gail leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Woods and Wilda Woods; and his wife Joan Woods (Ginther). He is survived by: his son Todd Woods; his daughter-in-law Michelle Fonner; his grandsons, Justin Woods, Matthew Woods and Nathaniel Fonner; and his granddaughter-in-law Melissa Zandt. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel (639 1st St NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary (206 Cherry Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646).
