The family announces the passing of George O. Emmert of Massillon, Ohio on August 23, 2026. George, born on April 19, 1947, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Emmert and Evelyn Emmert (Brunk). He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, George Emmert (Diane) and Sibilla Lint; and his siblings, Evelyn Jones, Joy Carter, Ann Mowder, Bob and Frank Emmert. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Epworth United Methodist Church (3061 Lincoln Way W, Massillon, OH 44647). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church Outreach Dinners, 3061 Lincoln Way , West, Massillon, OH 44647.
