He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Kowell and Carolyn Kowell. He is survived by: his significant other Mildred "Millie" Kowell (Baughman); his daughters, Keely Beebe (Matt Beebe), Korinne Kowell-Hull (Dustin Hull) and Kandyce Burgett (Dan Burgett); his grandchildren, Lola and Rinn Beebe; his brother Sidney "Skip" Kowell; and his nephew Rodney Kowell.
Rather than sending flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Massillon Boys and Girls Club Endowment Fund, 730 Duncan St SW, Massillon OH 44647.
