He is survived by: his mother Sandra Gonter of Massillon; his siblings, Richard Gonter of Massillon, Charlene Hubman (Mark Endress) of Massillon and Mike Gonter (Ruth) of Dover; his nieces, Stephanie Hubman of Massillon and Jessica Borton (Kyle Snodgrass) of Massillon; and his pets, Frosty and Oreo.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to go towards burial costs.
