Blend of Massillon, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edward Blend; and his daughter Jean Louise Phillipi. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rooney-Blend; and his sons, James E. Blend Jr., Jerry J. Blend (Debora) and Joel Blend (DeeDee). He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
